Vision MOOI

Stichting M.O.O.I. believes that every migrant has the right to a dignified, independent, and hopeful existence.

M.O.O.I. stands for Met Oog Op Integratie (With an Eye on Integration). We are building a society - in the Netherlands and in The Gambia - where migrants feel welcome, can develop their talents, and can participate fully. We do not see migration as a vulnerability, but as an opportunity for growth, connection, and mutual enrichment.

Mission MOOI

Stichting M.O.O.I. supports migrants without a network and with limited access to assistance.

We offer practical support and personal guidance, focused on empowerment and strengthening their selfreliance. In Gambia, we focus on the sustainable reintegration of returning migrants and on prevention: making young people aware of the risks of the backway and offering them realistic opportunities for the future. In this way, we build bridges between the Netherlands and Gambia and create prospects, safety, and dignity for everyone looking for a new start.

Future Tomorrow Foundation (FTF) – our partner in Gambia

Future Tomorrow Foundation (FTF) was founded in Gambia in 2025 and is committed to improving the quality of life of Gambians. The organization focuses on sustainable development, strengthening local communities, and supporting projects that contribute to social progress. FTF works with women, young people, village communities, and institutions to realize initiatives that make a real impact. An important part of their work focuses on supporting returning migrants, reducing drug use and crime, and helping vulnerable groups. FTF pays special attention to strengthening the position of women and empowering young people, so that they have more opportunities to build their future. The organization works actively in communities and offers psychosocial support, guidance, and counseling to those who need it most. Thanks to their broad expertise in project management, education, social work, business development, and event organization, FTF is a strong and reliable partner in our joint commitment to perspective, safety, and sustainable development in The Gambia.
