MOOI
01
Awareness & prevention
- In The Gambia, we are working with local communities to raise awareness of the dangers of illegal migration—known as the backway—through targeted awareness and prevention programs.
- The foundation is also developing an educational platform that works with families, young people, the Gambian community, and local partners to strengthen knowledge and awareness about these risks.
02
Counseling & traumaprocessing
- MOOI offers accessible counseling and psychosocial support to migrants who have experienced traumatic events or trauma.
03
Training & empowerment
- The foundation offers training courses that help young people strengthen their self-confidence, control, and social, communication, and practical skills. This gives them more control over their lives and a powerful mindset to tackle challenges.
- Through guidance, coaching, and additional training, we further deepen this growth, with the aim of enabling young people to work toward a stable and sustainable future with greater confidence, direction, and resilience.
04
Reintregration support
- The foundation carries out reintegration projects aimed at strengthening job skills, entrepreneurship, and self-reliance. We provide support with career orientation, labor market exploration, job application skills, matching with employers, and guidance toward internships, work, training, or setting up your own business.
- We collaborate with local and international organizations and governments to develop sustainable solutions to migration and labor market challenges.
